We're excited to invite you to complete our Builder assessment process for an opportunity to become a FreshTech Builder and receive paid app-building assignments. Every invited Builder begins by completing our assessment so we can evaluate both your technical ability and your ability to work independently using the FreshTech methodology.
The Builder Challenge is the first required step — no account is created until you begin.
What we're looking for
At Fresh Tech, the most valuable skill isn't simply writing code. We're looking for people who can follow instructions, work independently, solve problems, communicate well, and consistently complete high-quality work.
Most projects are managed virtually. Builders typically receive written project instructions, design requirements, deliverables, deadlines, upload locations, and feedback — all through the Fresh Tech platform.

Every invited Builder begins with the Builder Challenge. It helps us evaluate your technical knowledge, problem-solving, Builder mindset, and decision-making.
Minimum qualifying score
500 points
Strong candidates
≥ 1,000 points
500+ qualifies you to continue as a Builder candidate. Scores around 1,000 or higher represent particularly strong candidates.

Complete Module 1, Section 1
Every invited Builder candidate completes Module 1, Section 1. The goal is not simply to finish the lesson — it's to demonstrate that you can learn independently, complete assignments, follow written instructions, navigate the platform, and submit required work without constant assistance. This is also your introduction to the Fresh Tech methodology.
Assessment & Invitation
After reviewing your Builder Challenge score, portfolio, and Module 1 performance, Fresh Tech may:
- Invite you to begin working on paid projects immediately
- Continue you in Builder training
- Recommend additional learning before project work
- Encourage you to stay active in the community while strengthening your skills
The Builder Community
Becoming part of the Builder community is the beginning of the journey. Builders continue developing their skills, contributing to projects, collaborating with other Builders, and learning the Fresh Tech methodology before taking on increasing levels of responsibility.
